The City Council Action Plan represents the City Council's collective vision for Escondido's future and the key activities that will be used to achieve that vision. It is developed biennially following a workshop where key policy interests are identified and discussed by the City Council and City Staff.
On February 15, 2017, the City Council will hold a workshop to identify and discuss key policy goals. The workshop is open to the public and will take place in the Mitchell Room at Escondido City Hall starting at 12:30 p.m.
Previous City Council Action Plan:
On February 11,2015 the City Council held a workshop to identify and discuss key policy goals. During that meeting, each council member was able to elaborate on their ideas for city priorities. At the conclusion of the workshop, the City Council approved the following categories (in alphabetical order) for the 2015-1016 Council Action Plan:
- Economic Development
- Fiscal Management
- Neighborhood Improvement
- Public Safety
On August 12, 2015, the City Council received and adopted the City Council Action Plan for 2015-2016.
