Residential: If you use water at home, either indoors or out, click here for information such as Water Quality Reports, Utilities’ Rates and Fees Schedule, conservation tips and how-to guides, as well as interactive conservation games for kids. Information for trash and recycling collection through Escondido Disposal, Inc. is also available; visit EDI’s web site for information concerning household hazardous waste disposal and more.

Commercial: If you use water at your business, including landscaping, click here for access to the Escondido Municipal Code for issues regarding Wastewater, Stormwater, and Related Matters (see chapter 22). Applications are available to request a Wastewater Classification Review and a User Discharge Permit for Groundwater and Industrial Waste. The Utilities Department’s Rates and Fees Schedule, Water Quality Reports, and ways to reduce your water use are also available.

Agricultural customers may qualify for discounted water rates as determined by guidelines established by the San Diego County Water Authority.  If your property is at least ¾ acre with a minimum ½ acre planted with a commercial crop, please contact Utilities Administration (760-839-4662) to see if you qualify for a discount.
