Jump Start Small Business - Start Your Business in a Day!

During the pandemic, the City recognized a growing number of entrepreneurs starting small businesses and partnered with Innovate78, the SBDC, and the San Diego North EDC to quickly launch Jump Start Small Business - Start Your Business in a Day in English and Spanish. Since the program’s inception last summer, 156 small business entrepreneurs across the 78-Corridor have participated in the program, which provides small business owner resources, connections to capital, and tools to support a growing business. • Supplier Diversity Program- Women, minority, LGBT, and disabled veteran-owned business are invited to join.
• Innovate78 supports the business ecosystem of the 78 Corridor by further elevating the region's reputation and assisting businesses as they evolve.  The partnership between Escondido, Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos, and Vista helps businesses prosper in place for the betterment of all who work and reside here. The multi-city partnership furthers innovation with a shared vision to boost economic prosperity.
