Monday, May 23 is the last day to register to vote in the California Primary Election to be held June 7, 2016. 

City Hall will remain open until midnight May 23 to accept voter registration cards.  During regular business hours, you may register online at www.sdvote.org or at the San Diego County Registrar of Voters.  Registration cards are available at the City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours; however, between 5:30 p.m. and midnight, City staff members will be registering voters in the City Council Chambers foyer at City Hall, 201 North Broadway. 

If you have moved, changed your name (due to marriage or court order), or wish to change your party affiliation since the last election, you must re-register no later than midnight, Monday, May 23.  For more information on political party rules for presidential primary voting please visit:http://www.countynewscenter.com/news/voting-president-primary-know-rules
