Don’t miss eReaders eXplained, on Wednesday, March 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Escondido Public Library’s Turrentine Room. Learn how to access and download free Library eBooks and eAudiobooks to your smartphone, tablet, eReader, or computer. eReaders eXplained takes the mystery out of how to use Library eBooks with step-by-step guidance from librarians. NEW Escondido Writers Group
Escondido Public Library is starting a new program for adults. Escondido Writers Group meets for the first time at the Escondido Public Library on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Turrentine Room. Writers of fiction, non-fiction and memoirs are invited to join. This is an opportunity to improve writing by participating in monthly readings and receive group feedback. Celebrate National Library Month
National Library Week is celebrated April 10 to 16, 2016, to raise awareness of the resources, programs, and services offered by libraries everywhere. Escondido Public Library extends this celebration throughout April showcasing special programs and services. The Library offers endless opportunities to access information and technology that enhance learning, nurture the love of reading, and enrich lives. The community is invited to visit the Library soon, either in-person or virtually.
National Library Month highlights include the brand new Escondido Writers Group; 2nd Saturday Concert with Quartetto Sorrento, a classical string quartet; Bookmobile Pop-up Programs, and a Día de los Ninos, Día de los Libros (Children’s Day, Book Day) Celebration.
