With budget issues favorably resolved and all recreation facilities in operation, Escondido Recreation is geared up to kick off the 55th year of summer fun and safety!   Realize peace of mind knowing that your kids are enjoying their summer while learning new skills and making new friends in a safe and well-supervised environment.

Registration is now being accepted for:

Summer camps for kids ages 5-12 at Oak Hill Activity Center and Washington Park.  CIT- Counselor-In-Training is available for teens ages 13 to 15.  Weekly sessions run June 14 through August 19.

Aquatics programs including Learn-to-Swim classes, Me and My Shadow – Parent/Child classes, Water Polo for ages 10 through adult, Junior Lifeguards, and Master’s Swim. Open Swim begins June 17 at both Washington and James A. Stone pools.

Sport Center programs including British Soccer Camp, Skate Camp, and Summer Youth Hockey Leagues. Plus check out the bike, skate, and in-line session times at the Skate Park on-line at sportscenter.escondido.org, or find us on Facebook at Escondido Sports Center.

Tiny Tots Preschool summer sessions and Kamp Kindergarten will begin July 5 at the Don E. Anderson Building and the East Valley Community Center.

Special Camps for children and Enrichment Classes for children, teens, and adults offer a variety of ways to gain new experiences, learn new skills, and get fit, healthy and strong while having fun!
