Escondido Public Library joins libraries nationwide in celebrating National Library Week, April 13 – 19, 2014. National Library Week highlights the value of libraries and their contribution to the world of learning.
The Escondido Public Library is at the heart of the community, enriching quality of life as a place where people can gain knowledge and enjoy cultural experiences. Everyone is encouraged to visit the Library, either on-site or online, and discover services and programs for all ages. Library patrons can come in and checkout a book, or visit the Library website to download an eBook. The Library is a place to study, explore the City’s archive, improve literacy skills, access Wi-Fi, or use a computer. Free programs such as book clubs, career readiness workshops, concerts, author visits, and a monthly calendar of events for children and teens are continually offered.
