Escondido, CA Escondido Public Library’s Burritos & Book Club for teens ages 13-18, meets on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in the Turrentine Room from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The selected title is Don’t Get Caught by high school English teacher, Kurt Dinan. Copies are available for checkout in the Library’s Teen Area or can be reserved using the Library’s online catalog at library.escondido.org. Students at Escondido High School, San Pasqual High School, and Orange Glen High School can also check out copies at their school library.

Rule #7: Always get payback… Max Cobb has always thought of himself as just your average teen. After he and four of his fellow schoolmates fall for a prank by the school’s legendary Chaos Club, Max uses his knowledge of heist movies to create elaborate pranks in order to draw out and expose the members of the club. In his quest for vengeance, things begin to spiral out of control and just before Max decides that things have gone too far, secrets are revealed that change everything. Let the prank war begin!

After discussing Don’t Get Caught, teens can share other books they have enjoyed, select the next Burritos & Book Club title and take part in a scavenger hunt based on the book. Complimentary burritos will be provided, and all participants receive a free book or audiobook at the end of the program.
