Escondido’s Downtown Certified Farmers Market is Moving Locations

Escondido’s Tuesday Farmers Market run by the Escondido Arts Partnership (EAP) will be moving to a new location on Tuesday, September 27th. The new location will span the block of Juniper between Grand Avenue and Valley Parkway as well as Heritage Garden. Both the City of Escondido and the EAP look forward to the move bringing new energy to the market and more exposure to those commuting along Valley Parkway. The City conducted a survey of Downtown businesses this spring and the majority of respondents were in favor of moving the market off Grand Avenue.
Downtown Escondido's Certified Farmers Market showcases fresh-picked California-grown fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Friendly vendors also offer local honey, eggs, fresh-roasted nuts, pesto, fresh pasta, gourmet European breads, Julian pies, salsa, tamales, tortillas, pita and humus, cookies, dessert breads, and more.
The Farmers Market is sponsored by the Escondido Arts Partnership of Escondido. For more information about becoming a vendor at the market, please call Chrisanne Moates at 760-480-4101.
