Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library staff will demonstrate how to access and download free Library eMagazines to your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Download Free Magazines with Zinio will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 6:00 — 7:30 p.m. in the Turrentine Room. Seating will be limited to the first 20 people, so please come early and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) to get the most out of this hands-on learning experience.

Download Free Magazines with Zinio is a “how to” workshop that guides users through the one-time set up that allows access to 100 popular, full-color magazines digitally by using the Zinio platform. This program will take the mystery out of using the Library’s eMagazine collection and offers step-by-step assistance. Once a Zinio account is created, users can enjoy unlimited access to all titles in the eMagazine collection, and retain the magazines on their device.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Library patrons who can’t attend the workshop, but want to learn how to download eMagazines using Zinio, should contact Senior Librarian Paul Crouthamel at 760-839-4814 to set up an appointment.

For more information on this and other Library programs, visit the Library’s website at library.escondido.org. Escondido Public Library is located at 239 S. Kalmia St., Escondido, CA 92025.
