City of Escondido

Contact: Joyce Masterson, 760-839-4621

Visitors, businesses and residents interested in taking a virtual tour of Escondido can now do so from the City of Escondido’s official Web site at www.escondido.org

Featured in the City’s newly launched “Video Tourbook” are 10 one-minute professionally produced videos covering a range of topics.   In addition to a welcome message by Mayor Sam Abed, the collection includes videos highlighting Escondido’s arts and entertainment offerings, restaurants, real estate and historic downtown.  The community video site also features the logos and videos of local businesses who have signed on as sponsors of the program.

Escondido’s Video Tourbook is made possible through a partnership with CGI Communications, an internet marketing company headquartered in Rochester, NY.  CGI worked closely with City of Escondido staff to produce the community videos, and the program is offered at no cost to the City.
