Escondido, CA - Escondido Public Library, in partnership with the San Diego Financial Literacy Center, sdflc.org, will offer Identity Theft: What to Look Out For! on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Turrentine Room. Identity theft occurs when someone intercepts or steals your personal information. SDFLC will demonstrate how to protect personal information and how to monitor financial accounts for problems. This free workshop is part of an ongoing financial series, Be Money Smart @ Escondido Public Library.
San Diego Financial Literacy Center’s mission is to educate and empower individuals and families to make sound financial decisions as they develop positive personal finance habits for life. On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Escondido Public Library will continue this series as SDFLC presents Real Estate—Rent or Buy/First Time Buyers from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Turrentine Room. SDFLC will present the pros and cons of buying vs. renting and provide information for patrons thinking of buying a house for the first time.
