Come and celebrate el Día de los Muertos with art, ballet folklórico and more!  As always, attendees will be able to create altars to remember lost loved ones in a special area created by artist Eloy Tarcisio.  There also will be live music by Cumbia Machin, Mariachi Divinas, and Ritmos del Tiempo.  For children, there will be face painting, arts & crafts, and more.  Food and handmade goods will be available for purchase. The festival begins at 6:00 pm and is free and open to the public.  Altar space will not be available until 6:00 pm, but early arrival is strongly recommended.

In addition to the free event, the Festival also features two ticketed events:

 México…Vive Su Folklor, a special production by Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts that brings the history of Mexico to life through teatro, ballet folklórico, and live folk music;

Mexrrissey—Mexico Goes Morrissey also joins this year’s festival with a concert in the Center Theater at 7:30pm. Enjoy Morrissey’s most popular songs that have been translated into Spanish and laced with Latin beats. Opening act: Los Hollywood.
