If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate Mother’s Day, you may want to consider the Old Escondido Historic District’s 18th Annual Mother’s Day Home Tour.  On Sunday, May 10, 2015 between 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. you can tour the interiors and gardens of five historic homes dating from 1892 to 1927 and enjoy refreshments in a lovely garden setting.  

Tickets are $20 each if purchased prior to the event or $25 on the day of. One child under the age of 12 admitted at no charge with each paying adult. 

 This is a self-paced tour; the homes are within walking distance for the average person and can be visited in any order.  The home farthest to the west is approximately 1/3 mile from the home farthest to the east. Proceeds from the Mother’s Day Home Tour help the Old Escondido Historic District, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to achieve their mission, to “promote and protect Old Escondido, the City’s oldest neighborhood.”
