The City of Escondido Utilities is committed to providing customers with tools to assist with outdoor water management. Studies show that approximately 60 percent of residential water is used on the landscape. Fixing leaks and making minor repairs and adjustments to the irrigation system can save you water and money.

This page will inform you of any upcoming landscape workshops, trainings, or events that are available in the San Diego region.

Water Wise Gardening

Take advantage of two opportunities to see water-wise gardening in action in North County!

Check out a day of classes and tours of the new demonstration garden at Vallecitos Water District offices in San Marcos on Saturday, October 16th.  See www.vwd.org for more information.

Grangetto's in Escondido will have guided tours of their landscape by its designer on Saturday, October 23rd.  Learn more at "workshops" at www.grangettos.com.

These landscapes will be inspiring for residences and businesses alike.  Even if you can't make these free special events, you can visit these sites anytime.  They're free, open to the public and the plants are labeled!
