Grand Woofstock is a new, dog/pet expo for North County pet lovers, featuring all things poochie. Over 100 pet-oriented vendors, plus vets, groomers, trainers, agility schools, and local rescues will be on-hand. Talented canines will compete in hourly contests for best costume, owner look-alike, best kisser, best dancer, and more.

Pets and their families are welcome to enjoy the live music, great eats, pet parade, doggie treats, and doggie demos. A happy crowd of thousands of local pets, and pet lovers is expected to attend this first annual Grand Woofstock.

This is a free event, with free doggie treats and watering stations located at multiple Grand Ave businesses. A $5 entry fee for contests supports Escondido Humane Society.

Grand Woofstock is produced by Escondido merchants to provide a fun, family-friendly outing for regional dog lovers and their pet-buddies, and to support the Escondido Humane Society (EHS) and many of the worthy volunteer doggie rescue groups in North County; this event also helps support family-owned businesses in the historic downtown district. Proceeds from the exciting Woofstock Raffle Basket will go to EHS.
