We are proud to announce and recognize George Weir and family for their major sponsorship of the skate park renovation. George and Cynthia, and Mark and Nancy have committed a five-year sponsorship for the renovation of the skate park. In total, the family will donate $50,000 over a five-year period to help offset the cost of this project.

By signing on as the principal sponsor of the skate park, the Weir family helped make this exciting 22,000 square foot renovation project a reality. This project has been long awaited by the youth in the community. The project began work in August 2005, and was completed in early January 2006. We now have a world-class street course that will be enjoyed by skateboarders, inliners, and freestyle bike riders alike. We appreciate the Weirs' significant contribution to the project and the community.
