	The City of Escondido Community Services Department is pleased to offer the convenience of online registration, hosted by Active.com, for our customers! What classes/activities are available for online registration? You can register online for all classes/activities listed on Escondido Recreation's Web site or in our quarterly brochure with a seven-digit registration number, except for Tiny Tots Preschool classes, Santa's Workshop, Advanced Preschool Karate, and Infant/Child CPR. If a class/activity appears in Active.com’s online activity listings for the Escondido Community Services Department with zero (0) spots available, please e-mail recreation@escondido.org or call (760) 839-4691 to see if registration is still available via mail, fax, phone, or walk-in; or to be placed on a waiting list. BACK TO TOP Can I register online for a class/activity that has already started? Online registration ends after the start date for a class/activity. E-mail Escondido Recreation staff at recreation@escondido.org or call (760) 839-4691 to confirm if registration is still being taken via mail, fax, phone, or in person. Please note that some classes and activities, such as camps, have registration deadlines prior to the first day of the activity. BACK TO TOP How do I pay for online registration? The host for Escondido Recreation’s online registration, Active.com, accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Please note that ACTIVE.COM REGISTRATION will appear on your credit card statement. BACK TO TOP Are there any additional charges to register online? Active.com charges a nominal, nonrefundable processing fee for all online registration, with a $2.00 minimum fee. At this time we are not able to offer Escondido Recreation fee discounts through online registration; however, you may be eligible for discounts as an ActiveAdvantage member. Please note that you are not required to become a member of Active.com to register for Escondido Recreation programs. BACK TO TOP What if I need help completing my online registration—who do I contact? Please contact Active.com directly through their online Help Desk. E-mail support@active.com or call (888) 543-7223, ext.4. BACK TO TOP How will I receive confirmation of my online registration? When you complete the online registration form and billing information, and then submit your payment to Active.com, a confirmation screen will appear notifying you if your registration transaction was successful. Click on the link that appears on the confirmation screen to print out your receipt. BACK TO TOP What is the refund policy for online registration? Active.com does not issue refunds or credits. You must contact Escondido Recreation staff to request a refund or credit voucher for class/activity fees. Only Escondido Recreation class/activity fees can be refunded or credited. Any convenience or processing fees charged by Active.com are nonrefundable. Any refund of class/activities fees will be issued as a check, after the City has been paid by Active.com.
