  1. Click the RSS Feeds RSS Icon button to view feeds on the Web page.
  2. Click Subscribe to this feed.
  3. Type a name for the feed and select the folder to create the feed in.
  4. Click the Add to Favorites Bar check box.
  5. Click Subscribe.
  6. To view subscribed feeds, click the browser's Favorites button, then click the Feeds tab.

The City of Escondido will recognize Police, Fire and other personnel for their excellent efforts during last week’s Cocos Fire.   A special ceremony will be held in conjunction with Cruisin’ Grand, this Friday, May 23, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at the Maple Street Plaza located on Maple Street between Grand Avenue and Valley Parkway.  Escondido residents are encouraged to come to show their support for those who worked so hard to protect lives and property.

Speakers will include Mayor Abed, Fire Chief Mike Lowry and Police Chief Craig Carter.  There also will be a display of various fire vehicles, including Ol’ Betsey, a 1926 American La France fire truck.
