Public Forum on Education in Escondido - First in a New Series

The Escondido Education Foundation, partnering with the Escondido Union School District (EUSD), will hold a free, public forum on Wednesday, October 10, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Center Theater at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Entitled “Public K-8 Education in Escondido – Success, One Child at a Time”, the meeting comprises part of the Foundation’s community outreach about the students, teachers and schools in the public K-8th grade district. In a multi-media format, Dr. Jennifer Walters, EUSD Superintendent of Schools, will share data and strategies the district is using now. Award-winning teachers Jo-Ann Fox and Alex Kajitani will discuss very current topics, forces and trends in the classroom. The speakers will be available after the presentations for an informal discussion and question session. This forum is designed for EUSD parents, civic leaders and community members. The event is free and open to public, and refreshments will be served.

The Escondido Education Foundation (EEF) is a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation founded in 2004 by business and community leaders to raise funds through donations, grants, and events to support innovative learning in the Escondido Union School District.  www.escondido-education-foundation.org
