Author Spotlight: Laurie R. King

Author Laurie R. KingLaurie R. King is a native of California and writes a contemporary mystery series about a policewoman, Kate Martinelli, in San Francisco, an area that she knows well. However, Ms. King is probably best known for her Sherlock Holmes novels with a new twist. Ms. King also writes psychological suspense novels that have loose ties by locality or secondary characters. She is an award winning author (Edgar Allen Poe Award, Mystery Writers of America; John Creasey Dagger Award; Macavity Award, etc.) who we hope you will enjoy discovering.
