4.                  POLICE AND FIRE FACILITY:  CONSULTING AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL INSPECTIONS, GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES, AND MATERIAL TESTING DURING PHASE III AND PHASE IV  (1163 NORTH CENTRE CITY PARKWAY) Request council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk execute a Consulting Agreement with Construction Testing and Engineering, Incorporated, in the amount of $166,096, for special inspections, geotechnical services, and material testing for Phase III and Phase IV of the Police and Fire Facility at 1163 North Centre City Parkway

6.                  GRANTING AN EASEMENT FOR INSTALLATION OF AN UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC TRAYER SWITCH Request Council authorize granting an easement to San Diego Gas & Electric for the installation of an underground electric Trayer Switch to insure circuit reliability

The subject property is located on the southern side of Ninth Avenue, between W. Valley Parkway and Del Dios Road, addressed as 1357 W. 9th Avenue (APN 235-072-04)

WORKSHOP

 

12.              RESIDENTIAL PARKING ORDINANCE ALTERNATIVES WORKSHOP Workshop to discuss results of citizen input on residential parking issues and provide direction on a Draft Residential Parking Ordinance prepared by staff. The Workshop will also provide an opportunity to consider various alternatives. Key considerations include the areas of the City to be included, times of day and night subject to parking restrictions, the number of parking opportunities provided, potential budget and administrative issues, enforcement, etc.

 

Staff Recommendations:  Consider public testimony and provide direction to staff regarding the development of the Residential Parking Ordinance (Community Development Div.:  Jon Brindle)

Council meetings are broadcast live on Cox Cable Channel 19.  Meetings can also be viewed the following Sunday and Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m.

The City Council meets regularly on the first four Wednesdays
of the month at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Members of the Council also sit as the Community Development Commission
and the Mobilehome Rent Review Board.
