How Does This Program Work?
The Workforce Roundtable is a group of business, education, and local government leaders that meet once a month to support activities that result in better jobs for Escondido residents.
The Workforce Roundtable encourages residents of Escondido to live and work in their home town. The "Work in Your Home Town" program allows local employers to advertise job opportunities on the community bulletin board, "Escondido Focus" (Channel 19).
Job opportunities posted will:
- Be located in Escondido.
- Be full-time (non-seasonal)
- Pay at least $12.50 per hour or $10.00 per hour with commission.
- Be posted for FREE by the City.
- Be run on cable station a minimum of three times per day at established times.
Each job opportunity must be received by Tuesday and will be posted on the bulletin board on Friday for a maximum of two weeks. If you need it to run longer, a new application must be submitted.
An "Employer Agreement" must be on file with the City of Escondido before you submit job opportunities. The Employer Agreement and Job Opportunities Application are both available online.
