Jesmond Dene Park, located at the intersection of North Broadway and Jesmond Dene Road, is named after the community of Jesmond Dene. The City of Escondido acquired the 35-acre park site in 1978. Initial funding came from the San Diego County Park Dedication Ordinance Fund.
