Streets and Parks Divisions


The Streets Division maintains streets, pavement, traffic signals, street signs, striping, and pavement legends, street signs, street sweeping, sidewalks, storm drains and drainage channels. The Division also removes graffiti from any public or private property in the city at no cost to the property owner.

The Parks Division cares for and maintains the City's parks, median and parkway landscaping, open spaces, street trees, and the landscaping at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido with an emphasis on tree trimming and vegetation control as part of a citywide beautification effort. The Division works in the acquisition, planning, and construction of new park facilities, open space, and street right-of-way landscaping.
