Escondido City Council meetings are typically scheduled for the first four Wednesdays of each month at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. At each regular meeting, the City Council follows an agenda which is prepared the preceding week by the City Clerk's office. Minutes are also prepared by the City Clerk's office.

Any item placed on the City Council agenda must be received by the City Manager at least two weeks before the scheduled meeting. Items must be on the agenda in order to be considered and acted upon by the City Council.

The agenda is posted 72 hours before the meeting as required by law. Copies of the agenda and accompanying reports are available the Monday prior to the meeting. Citizens may review this information in the public viewing area of the City Clerk's office at City Hall, 201 North Broadway, Escondido, during normal business hours.
