Free composting workshops are held at the Escondido Community Garden.

The workshops are staffed by master composters and include demonstration and instruction in building and maintaining a backyard compost pile and worm bin.

The workshops are hosted by the Community Garden, in conjunction with the City of Escondido. No reservations required. The workshop will be cancelled if it is raining.

All workshops are held on Saturdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Escondido Community Garden, located on Centre City Parkway just north of Highway 78. Turn west on Decatur Way into the parking lot for the new Escondido Police/Fire Facility. Park near the garden.
